ORGANIZED:      January 2, 1962

PURPOSE
:            To promote benevolent, civic, cultural and education interest in the   
                                community.

MOTTO
:              “To Seek – To Find – To Share”

COMPOSITION: Business and professional women in the District of Columbia and vicinity
                                who are dedicated to serving the community.   

BENEFICIARIES:

Primary recipients:  Children’s Hospital National Medical Center, HowardUniversity’s Center of Sickle Cell Disease, and Howard University Breast Cancer Research.  A four-year college scholarship;  charitable gifts to Young Women Christian Association (YWCA), National Council for Negro Women (NCNW), Urban League D.C. Youth Chorale, and others on an individual basis.

The following is a list of major contributions made by The Questers, Incorporated from 1964 to 2011:




The organization has also supported the NAACP, the National Council of Negro Women “Wall of Honor”, and the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA with lifetime memberships. Currently, major monetary donations are contributed to the Children’s Hospital National Medical Center to support the Freddie Mac Foundation Child and Adolescent Protection Center, the Howard University Cancer Center for Breast Cancer Research, and a deserving college student with a four-year continuing scholarship.  To date, charitable contributions total over $500,000.00. The goal of The Questers is to strengthen and support children’s institutions and organizations that provide  for the well being of all Americans.
